Canon T1i (500D) + Fantastic Canon do-it-all (not kit!) lens in Marine Parade, East Singapore for sale

Well folks, it's your lucky day. I am selling my well-loved and responsibly-used Canon T1i body (aka Canon 500D in Singapore, Canon Kiss X3 in Japan). This camera was modestly called “Canon's second best digital camera ever, right behind the $2,700 5D.” I'm also selling a really fantastic do-it-all Canon lens that's light years ahead of the common kit lens.
Despite this praise, I’ll point out that this camera is not perfect. For one, it’s a DSLR, which means that it’s a bit on the large size, especially is you’re used to shooting photos with your phone. The camera has also been used, which means that it’s got some wear on the body and also bears a little scrape on the rear LCD screen. Of course, these cosmetic flaws don’t impact the picture quality or the camera performance, but it does lack some of that new camera smell.
I have absolutely loved this camera and am really not in a rush to sell, but I am now shooting with a new camera.

The condition is 8/10, primarily due to the wear on the body of the camera. Images are sharp and the pictures are clear. It is working great.
In addition to the camera, I am also selling a fantastic all purpose lens: Canon EF-S 18-200mm f 3.5-5.6 IS. This lens runs $1,299 but I’m selling for substantially less. If you buy both the camera and the lens, I can cut the price even more.

I only purchased the camera body, rather than the combo with the kit lens, so that I could spend money on a much better lens. The first is a great all-purpose lens, that facilitates all your shooting without a need to swap lenses. It’s got great range and optical quality. Lens is used, but still works very well. Focus is accurate and relatively quiet.
